On April 21, 2026, our Institute was visited by Mr. Jouke Knol, Counsellor for Agriculture, Fisheries, and Nature at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Poland. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize himself with the scope of the Institute’s activities and to assist in establishing scientific and commercial contacts with both employees of research units and representatives of the biopharmaceutical industry of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Ms. Monika Błeszyńska, Advisor for Agriculture and Nature, accompanied the Counsellor of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. On behalf of NVRI, the meeting was attended by heads and deputy heads of Research Departments: Professor Jacek Osek, Professor Piotr Jedziniak, Professor Krzysztof Szulowski, Ewa Borzym, MEng., Jacek Karamon DVM, PhD, ScD, Professor of the Institute, Marcin Smreczak DVM, PhD, ScD, Professor of the Institute, Marcin Frant DVM, PhD, ScD, Professor of the Institute, Anna Kycko,PhD, Aleksandra Giza, MSc and the Management represented by Professor Stanisław Winiarczyk and Professor Mirosław Polak.

The presentation of the Institute’s research areas was accompanied by information on the current cooperation between NVRI scientists and partners from research units of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. During the discussion, topics of interest to our research staff were discussed. At the end of the meeting, the guests visited the Institute’s laboratories and the conventional animal facility.
