Science and Advisory – AKIS
On February 17-18 this year, representatives of the Institute: Professor Mirosław P. Polak, Deputy Director for Research, and M.Sc. Maria Műller and M.Sc. Agnieszka Wójcik from the Publishing and Promotion Department, participated in a meeting dedicated to formulating a plan for scientific and agricultural advisory cooperation for 2026. The meeting, organized in Zegrze near Warsaw by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, was opened by Marcin Tomaszewski, Director of the Department of Knowledge Transfer and Social Affairs. Representatives of research institutes and agricultural advisory units from across the country, who participated in the meeting, familiarized themselves with the implementation of projects aimed at broader utilization of EU programs, presented by NCBR employees.
In the workshop part, representatives of the institutes and agricultural advisory units made preliminary arrangements regarding the scope of scientific and advisory cooperation for 2026, taking into account the needs reported by advisory services, both in terms of issues and forms of knowledge transfer. The reference point for the arrangements was a presentation by the General Counselor of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Bogdan Pomianek, who outlined the assumptions of the Common Agricultural Policy after 2027.
