The National Veterinary Research Institute (PIWet-PIB) conducts testing in accordance with the requirements of the international standard PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 and under the supervision of the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines (EDQM), ensuring high quality, reliability of results, and compliance with European standards.

- The test order is concluded with the client or their representative.
- To complete the order form correctly, you should: download the form, review its content, and then fill in the areas marked with a frame.
- When selecting a testing method, you should refer to the current price list for tests performed at the National Veterinary Research Institute, which is available on this website under the PRICE LIST tab.
- If you do not specify the testing method to be used when completing the order form, the laboratory will select a method appropriate for the testing direction. Tests will be performed using accredited methods or methods outside the scope of accreditation.
- After completing the order form, it must be signed and delivered together with the test object to the Central Sample Reception Point (CPP) of our Institute.
- Failure to provide a properly completed order form constitutes grounds for refusal to accept samples for testing, and any attached cover letters do not constitute a valid order for testing by PIWet-PIB.
- An order for service testing with a payer other than the ordering party must include a commitment to cover testing costs signed by the payer, under penalty of non-acceptance of the order.
- As of January 1, 2006, the VAT exemption provided in item 5 of Annex No. 4 to the Act of March 11, 2004 on tax on goods and services (Journal of Laws No. 54, item 535, as amended), covering scientific research services, is no longer in effect. This means that scientific research services at PIWet-PIB are subject to 23% VAT.
- At the client’s request, the Institute issues a printed report certified as consistent with the original. The authenticity of the document can be verified by entering the unique identification number of the report in accordance with the principles described above.
- Both individuals and business entities may use the testing services of PIWet-PIB.
- PIWet-PIB issues test reports in Polish and English, in accordance with the requirements of legal regulations applicable to international trade in domestic and farm animals.
