Delegation from the National Institute of Animal Health-NIAH at the Institute [2018-06-05 11:13:06]
From 15 to 16 March a delegation from the National Institute of Animal Health-NIAH (Tsukuba, Japan) visited the National Veterinary Research Institute in Pulawy. We hosted Dr Kenichi Sakamoto, Director General of NIAH, Dr Yoshifumi Iwamaru, Head of Prion Disease Unit, Division of Trasboundary Animal Disease, Dr Kentaro Masujin, Senior Researcher, Exotic Disease Unit, Division of Trasboundary Animal Disease, and the representative of the Ministerstwa Rolnictwa Japonii (Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF), Pan Kiyohisa KAMOMAE, D.V.M. Assistant Director, Animal Health Division, Food Safety and Consumer Affairs Bureau.
The visit resulted from the meeting of the scientists from NVRI, NIAH NARO (National Agriculture and Food Research Organisation) held on 29-31 August 2017.
The main goal of the visit was to sign up the cooperation agreement for next five years including exchange of scientists and common research in the scope of infectious diseases.
